The Sloan Research Fellowship Program provides two-year, $75,000 fellowships to early career researchers in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field.
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in chemistry, computer science, Earth system science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, physics, or a related field.
- Tenure-track, though untenured, as of September 15 of the nomination year.
- Faculty position must carry a regular teaching obligation.
Candidates must be nominated by a department head or other senior researcher.
Departments can nominate more than one candidate, but no more than three.
