National Research Council
The Killam Prizes are among Canada’s most distinguished research awards. They are awarded annually (by the National Research Council) to outstanding Canadian scholars in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences and engineering. Each award is valued at $100,000.

The VPRI will coordinate an internal selection process. Departments, divisions, institutes, schools, and faculties are strongly encouraged to embed equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in their nomination strategies.
