The Health Research Foundation (HRF) of Innovative Medicines Canada is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Diversity and Equity in Research Award, celebrating exceptional Canadian researchers who are advancing equitable access to healthcare and inclusive participation in health research. 

This award recognizes outstanding individuals whose work advances equitable participation in health research and access to care in Canada, improving the well-being of all Canadians, particularly those deserving equity. The nominee’s work/research must have been performed in Canada by a Canadian Resident and have achieved international recognition for its contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the health sciences, health policy and/or the improvement of therapeutics and healthcare.

Each nomination package includes a letter of recommendation from each nominator (2), the nominee’s Curriculum Vitae, and optional supplemental material that supports the nomination.
