The Canadian Society of Zoologists (CSZ) offers several research awards, including:
- F. E. J. Fry Medal: Given to a Canadian Zoologist who has made an outstanding contribution to knowledge and understanding of an area in zoology, and who is expected to deliver a plenary lecture at the next annual conference.
- Robert G. Boutilier New Investigator Award: To encourage and honor CSZ members within seven years of receiving their first academic or professional appointment. The individual must have made significant contributions to zoology (defined broadly) and to be considered a “rising star” in their field.
